Do my clients need to create an account to give feedback?

No. Not at all. You send a link, your client clicks, comments and approves – no sign-up, no password, no onboarding. That's it. Setup takes you two minutes. For the client, zero.

Does it cost extra if I invite lots of external clients?

No. From the Freelancer plan upwards, external reviewers are completely free and unlimited. You only pay for your internal users – not for every client who gives feedback. No per-user trap, no nasty surprises on your invoice.

How does draftgo differ from tools like Filestage or GoVisually?

Filestage starts at 199€ per month – that's simply too much for small agencies and freelancers. GoVisually is cheaper, but has no video feedback on its entry-level plan and hosts in Australia. draftgo combines fair pricing, video feedback on every plan, GDPR-compliant data storage on EU servers and – crucially – no account requirement for your clients.

Which file formats are supported?

Videos (MP4, MOV), PDFs, images (JPG, PNG, GIF), designs and documents. Frame-accurate feedback works right in the video player – your clients can comment accurate to the millisecond. For photographers, there are also galleries for selecting and sorting images.

Does draftgo also work for video and social media approvals?

Yes – and it's one of our strongest points. Your clients can comment right in the video, accurate to the millisecond. No screenshots, no 'at 0:23 we meant...'. It works for reels, ads, explainer videos and any other type of video.

Where is my data stored?

On EU servers in a Frankfurt data centre – GDPR-compliant. When you sign up, you receive a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR that openly lists every service provider we use. Transfers to third countries only take place with the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses).

Can I customise draftgo with my own branding?

Yes – from the Agency plan upwards. You can integrate your logo, your colours and your brand identity into draftgo. Your clients then see your branding, not ours. That strengthens your professional image and justifies higher day rates.

We currently use a different tool – how hard is it to switch?

Most teams are live in under 30 minutes. No data export, no complicated onboarding. You upload your first project, send your client a link – and the difference is noticeable straight away. You can simply keep existing projects running in other tools in parallel and switch at your own pace.
